I wish to respond to the letter in the Messenger concerning the environmental wardens who started patrolling areas across Trafford from the beginning of October and can fine those who deliberately drop litter, let their dogs foul without cleaning it up and fly tip in our communities.
I would like to reassure everyone that the teams will be visiting all areas of Trafford and while they will be concentrating on town centres and hot spots, other problem areas can be added to the list of locations they visit, so if you have concerns about where you live please do speak with your local Councillors.
We care about all our town centres and have recently approved plans setting out how our all streets and green spaces will be managed.
These will be soon be published on the Council website and members of the public and local Councillors will be able to see this information for themselves and check that standards are being maintained.
