Will the elves brighten up Christmas?

EVERY December a large candleholder mysteriously appears on the Bowdon roundabout.
How it gets there has puzzled me for a number of years now. This year I was thinking of putting something there myself; a large snowman or perhaps a christmas tree. But then I thought of the dangers involved crossing a very busy road carrying these items, and if I was spotted by the police I would probably be arrested for causing a danger to motorists and dumping rubbish on a traffic island.
On second thoughts I will leave it to the Elves of Trafford Council to sort out the Christmas decorations. But a large illuminated Christmas tree, welcoming people to Altrincham as they drive past Bowdon roundabout, would be very nice indeed.
