Adding protest to land plan

I WISH to add my protest to that of Brian Newhall regarding the proposed sale of the piece of green land at the junction of Barrington Road and Stamford Road, Altrincham. I hope that many other Altrincham residents will do likewise and write to Trafford Council as I have done.
Altrincham, once a thriving market town, has suffered enough damage since the 1970’s especially with the proliferation of office space, much of which appears to be empty. (This compliments the empty shops, I suppose.) We must not allow the loss of any green space, however small.
I am now concerned about the other green areas bordering onto Barrington Road – how many greedy eyes are already focused on them, I wonder?
