MY son recently attended a scout jamboree in Essex with his friends.
He came home that day talking of a band called MISSING ANDY that was put on by the event organizers as entertainment. Apparently the lead singer of the band was cursing and using profanities which my son later asked me to explain the definitions of. I have already spoke to the leaders of the committee and they have apologized saying the band’s performance was unacceptable. They were escorted off the premises and fined all their monies from their deplorable performance, which they pulled the plug on.
Unfortunately now my son and his friends have become obsessed with this band and after listening to them myself I can't help but think they are an entirely inappropriate influence. I have tried to get in contact with the band via their Myspace page and asked for them to publish an apology on their site so the kids know their actions should not be replicated.
But so far they have not responded to my requests.
