Reassuring that people still care

ON JULY 11 my wife tripped over a badly maintained pavement on Park Road, Urmston, resulting in cuts and severe bruising to the face, a broken tooth and damage to her mouth.

Two gentlemen went to her aid and one kindly brought her home in his car. We did not get their names, but would like to thank them most sincerely for their help and assistance.

As we may now need witnesses to what happened we would be most grateful if one or both of them would contact us on 0161 747 1271.

It is reassuring, in these days of violence, that there are still some people who care.

Yours BP Warren, Cornhill Avenue, Urmston
