THE charity the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust recently held an auction at its annual ladies lunch, raising an amazing £9,500 for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children.

By the time I got on the bus my feet felt like blocks of ice and there wasn’t a word of an apology from the driver, who radiated an air of total indifference. An elderly neighbour of mine had been waiting for a bus since 7.30am!  −

This does not stop the planning application going forward on December 11th and planning law is a very different matter. If the developers get planning permission and this does not depend on them owning the land, it sets a dangerous precedent for every green space in the borough.  −
