Robin's new challenge

ONE of the UK’s largest family law firms, Altrincham-based Stowe Family Law, has appointed an international specialist to its 41-strong team.
Robin Charrôt has joined the company, which is headed by leading divorce lawyer Marilyn Stowe, from Channel Islands practice Carey Olsen.
Along with Marilyn Stowe he is also a fellow of the prestigious International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, having been appointed for his work in Jersey. They number among a select few lawyers worldwide who are recognised as the most expert and experienced family lawyers in their countries.
Also a qualified collaborative lawyer, he brings more than a decade’s experience of complex family law cases to the team, which specialises in cases involving assets of £500,000 to £100 million plus.
He said: “Stowe Family Law is the north of England’s premier private client family practice, with a reputation for taking on challenging cases.
“I am delighted to have become its newest member. My work here in Hale has already proved rewarding.”

She is based several hours’ north of us, in Salima, helping local nurses caring for and visiting people who are dying. At home Sue buys all her sugar from the charity Traidcraft – so we were looking for the co-operative who their white sugar.
