A NOBEL prize winning classic launches the new season at Altrincham Garrick’s critically acclaimed Lauriston Studio.
It’s autumn/winter programme begins with Dario Fo’s Accidental Death of An Anarchist from October 1-4. Updated by Men Behaving Badly writer Simon Nye, audiences can expect an evening of biting satire and pinpoint social commentary.
David Mamet’s Oleanna, which comes from the pen of a man considered to be one of the finest playwrights in contemporary theatre, runs from January 7-10 and audiences can sink their teeth into Pieces of Pinter from March 11-14.
The penultimate production of the season is Iron, by Rona Munro, which plays from April 29 to May 2 and the Lauriston season concludes with its traditional showcase for new writing, in the shape of two new one act plays, from June 10-13.
